Stone coated tie-ins are less noticeable. Available in 3×4 size only (10′ length), and “A” and “B” elbows. Sold by the each. Panels are available in weatherwood, sierra brown, beach brown, cedarwood, black, pearl white, charcoal, musket pebble, bark brown, and green. Comes in 5 foot pieces

Baked Enamel Heater Cap Dispersing Panel: Heater Cap panels are the first line of defense against ice and snow. The panel cuts a wide swatch of ice and is much more efficient than zigzag arrangements which are prone to tunneling. The baked enamel panels blend into metallic gutter protection, can mounted on to the roof, or in the gutter (black is the preferred color in the bottom of the gutter). Panels are available in terratone, tuxedo grey, dark bronze, black, white, pearl grey, musket brown, royal brown, coco brown, red, green, and cream. Comes in 5 foot pieces

Self-Regulating Heating Cable: Self-regulating heat cable doesn’t get hot enough to start on fire. Cable fits into the notch on the heat dispersing panel to effectively melt the ice and snow. Uncovered cable is laid out to follow path of ice melt until it reaches the grade of the lawn. Cable is UL listed 5 watts at 50° F. However, for roof and gutter de-icing applications focus on wattage at 32° F. Cable is sold by foot.

Down Spout Hangers: Down spout hangers fasten the cable to the inside bottom of the gutter and the inside of the down spout. Hangers protect the cable from abrasions caused by movements in the cable while in the down spouts. Caulk is used to keep the hanger in place.

Gutter / HC Panel Brackets: Brackets are used in gutter only mount, where there is no gutter protection present. Panels are clipped to the bottom of the gutters with the panel brackets every 2′. Clips are held in place by deck screws in the fascia.

Power Connection Kit: Kit contains installer package and electrician’s package. The purpose is to provide a water tight seal at all times, protect the cable from the down spout to the junction box, and properly shield the three wires from each other. Instructions and MSDS sheets for each package are included. Contents include the following: Installer: Instructions, permanent end seal kit,2 temporary end seals, liquid tight fitting, and required amperage labels. Electrician: Instructions, two business wire seals, ground wire seal, cable seal, liquid tight fitting, “Heater Cap” label for breaker box, and “Home Owner Operating Instructions, and Electrician Documentation Form.

Temporary End Seal: Both ends of cables should be sealed in periods of storage during installation, and pre-electrical hook-up. Cut cables should never be left exposed as moisture will ruin the cables! Note: Power connection kits always have two temporary end seals in the installer package.

Gutter Protection Accessories

Right End Cap: End cap gives a nice clean look to the edge of the run of gutter protection. End Caps are available in baked on colors to match the gutter protection.

Left End Cap: End cap gives a nice clean look to the edge of the run of gutter protection. End Caps are available in baked on colors to match the gutter protection.

Valley Insert: Inside corners require a valley insert to handle the volume and velocity of water being channeled down the roof valley. Easy to install, valley inserts are available in terratone. (They can be painted to match the gutter protection.)

Starter Strip: Starter strip or utility strip is used in applications to where you cannot get under the second row of shingles such as wood or slate applications. Some contractors will use starter strip as a point of differentiation as it adds a flashing to allow expansion and contraction with the gutter protection panels. Starter strip is attached to the roof, and the panels can be tacked in the fold of the metal strip. Comes in 5 foot pieces and can be color matched to the gutter protection.

Mounting Ledge: Mounting ledge is used for fascia mounts with the 6″ gutter protection panels where getting under the roof is not an option. Ledge is positioned up against the fascia in line with the roof edge. The ledge provides a platform to screw the back of the panel so that it butts up against the edge of the roof. This type of application requires lowering the gutters. Comes in 5 foot pieces

Self-Tapping Screws: Color matched screws used to fasten the lip of the gutter protection to the lip of the gutter. Screws are packed 100 ct. to a bag.
